On 16 – 20th November 2020 at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, with the collaboration of the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), and the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), Thailand is hosting the ASEAN Innovation Roadmap & Bioeconomy Forum in conjunction with GBS 2020, by having many interesting activities; discussion, talks, workshop, and exhibitions from leading companies from many countries, focusing on the development of innovation and bio-economy,

Due to robust agricultural activities, rich natural resources, and diversity of biological resources, and physical geography, it draws Thailand to an excellent position for bio-economy and showcase as a powerhouse of innovation and bio-based industry. The main purposes are to capitalize on the opportunities of novel innovation and take on the concept of bio-economy as a vital key to sustainability, in order to maintain a growth rate of ASEAN member countries. At the on-site event, there are many highlight topics on bio-economy concepts such as BCG-Global sustainability & social impact, Investment opportunities, bio-economy strategy development, and biodiversity utilization.
