SMS Lays out Solutions for Sustainable Protein & Fiber Supplies for Better Health and Food Securities sms-underline

On February 9th, 2023, in the symposium - ‘Plant Protein & Fibers for Future Food Sustainable Ingredients’, Mr. Danai-Thanit Bisalputra (The Executive director of Poon Phol Group) and Dr. Werawat Lertwanawatana (The CEO of SMS Group) welcomed honored guests; Mr. Wisit Limluecha (The President of Thai Food Processors’ Association), Mr. Charoen Keawsooksai (The President of Federation of Thai Industries), and many participants from 20 food manufacturers attending. The objectives were set to provide solutions for sustainable protein & fiber supplies and expand Thailand’s food industry network. 

At the event, many trendy topics were discussed by SMS food specialist teams, and food displays and a live cooking show were demonstrated to showcase the applications of plant protein and starch solutions. The simple yet effective innovation of PHYTO 50 has been revealed for Hi-Protein and Balanced Diet solutions. Phyto 50 may be applied for most food applications by simply replacing and fortifying 50% of animal protein contents in various food products with more than 50% of plant proteins.
