SMS joined the plantation with Bio-compostable nursery bag

May 6th, Mr. Wirat Wosri (the manager of human resource) led SMS staff to participate bamboo plantation, under the campaign “Plant a Forest in your Heart”. At the event, there were many government officials attending including Mr. Narong Woonsiew (the district governor) as the president. The campaign was established by Rama IX of Thailand, the purpose is to raise the consciousness of forest conservation and promote the heart of green to people in the community.

The highlight of plantation was the bio-compostable nursery bag made of TAPIOPLAST®, emphasizing the zero waste to the environment. With this bio nursery bag, it will create no plastic left to the soil due to its fast degradation within 90 days.
