Oil & Grease Resistant Paper

Fast food and takeaway foods are commonly wrapped with oil-resistant paper to maintain the juiciness of the product and also promote sustainable containers. The oil-repelling properties meet the greaseproof requirements of the paper manufacturers. EXCEL GR® Series are made from a biodegradable polymer and commit 100% degradation. EXCEL GR® Series can be processed in both by batch and continuous cooking. The resulting film formation on paper surface proficiently provides an excellent grease barrier to paper.

Oil & Water-Resistant Paper

In terms of replacing single-use plastic, SMS presents a high-performance water-based barrier, PROMPTCOAT Series - specially designed to use for paper and board, offering excellent barrier properties to both water & oil/grease resistance. PROMPTCOAT Series can be easily supplied for typical size press or coating processes.

The paper packaging containing PROMPTCOAT Series excellently helps reduce the plastic waste problems as it can easily be used as recycled fiber in the paper-making process.
